"From Trash to Treasure", "There are no sustainable materials" and "Scaling Circular Ceramics from Jingdenzhen" - those were some of the 5 unique stories shared on our very first "Sustainable Stories" event on Friday September 26th at The Belgian House in Shanghai. With more than 80 participants, construction & design companies were invited to share their sustainable story, guided throughout the sharing session by our members Miel Wellens and Sara Tian from Touch Elephant.

A wonderful event with truely impressive sustainable stories, allowing guests active in design, business, and sustainability to intersect. It is these sharings that are helping us see not only what change is needed but also how it can be achieved. Among the guest speakers, we had the pleasure to listen to Irem Arig (Hyloch), Caroline Chang (YI DESIGN), Sissi CHAO (RePlasTerial), Jessie Pan (Reynaers Aluminium) and Singer Li (Wienerberger).
We would like to thank our event sponsor Touch Elephant and venue sponsor The Belgian House, as well as our in kind sponsors Budweiser Brewing Company APAC and Duvel Moortgat China, without whom this successful evening wouldn’t have taken place.
